dinosour ridges

On Tuesday Annika, Ian and I went on a field trip. First we went to a museum. The museum had dinosour bones in it. After that, we went on a hike in Dinosour Ridges. There was a cliff on the edge of the trail.

quilting

On Wednesday I made a quilt. I made it by sowing two fabrics together doing that again then sowing those two together I did that again then my mom sowed the quilt together .I let my mom have it.

gruene

On our way to Sanantonio we stopped at Gruene. We went to a restaurant in Gruene. I really liked it. I think it had 3 floors.

typing

As a part of home schooling I have been working on a program called Adventures in Typing; in it I learned the keys: f,d,j,k,space bar,a,s,l,;,g,h,e,i,r,t,right shift,u,y, left shift, ,, m, n, b, v, c and x. I stopped hunting and pecking and I started using all my fingers.

photoshop and the rest of today

Today my mom told me how to use photoshop; I used: clone stamp, patch tool and the magnetic lasso. after photoshop I did spelling; in spelling my mom wrote sentences with blanks in it then I filled in the blanks.

[I said I would be typing Campbell's dictated entries, but I haven't done that since the very first day. He has been doing all of this by himself since then. So, if you see something in brackets, I've typed it; if not, it's purely Campbell. - Ashley]

some of today

we did an experiment where we took two peices of celery. we dipped one in food coloring mixed with water, the other in plain water we waited for one hour before the hour was over we ate lunch. we had cresent dogs. after that we pulled them out. [dictated to Mom: We learned about the tubes inside plants, which carry water up to the leaves. We were studying structure and cells. We learned that cells have different jobs. Some of the cells in plants bring the water up to the leaves.]

making paper

yesterday I planned to make paper today.first I sredded paper then made pulp out of the paper and put it in a tub .then I got a frame with a screen stapled to it and dipped it in the tub .we got it out and peeled the paper off ,then we let it dry
